BILO

2022 has been a great year for Bilo. The Majorcan psychedelic pop band has finally released its first LP, Just a Game, and has won the PopRock 2022 band contest. More than enough reasons for them to visit our festival again.

After appearing in 2016 with a self-titled EP and capturing the critics’ attention two years later thanks to Mahatma-Cartney, the group began working on their debut album at the Favela studios in Palma alongside Michael Mesquida and Pep Toni Ferrer. Completed in 2020 at their headquarters, known as the Teatre de Calvià, they teamed up with producer Tomy Solbas (ex-The Wheels), who is now part of Bilo alongsidew Driss Stadig, Marc Mas, Sebastian Bass and Victor Ariza. A long creation process that gave them a new member and the singles ‘Catch the Fool’ and ‘Charly is in New York’, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
