BLANCO PALAMERA
BLANCO PALAMERA
They work in privacy and never outside. And not only because the context of recent years has wanted it that way: Blanco Palamera have been opening their hearts from the first chord. That same intimacy that led them to be brothers of father and mother and different is what found them in INTIMIDADE (2022), all in caps and straightforward: a second album called to illuminate once and for all whatever “new pop” is.
A “new pop” in which round melodies collide with textures ranging from future funk to electronic programming, from bolero to R&B groove, from non-sleeping lullabies to petting music, from progressive pop to hits belonging to an alternative mainstream radio.
A record that arrives three years after the release of Promesas, one of the albums that were present in all of the Best of the Year lists in 2019, earning the Galician duo to become regulars at that year’s festivals and to sell out venues across the country.
