BRIGITTE LAVERNE
Brigitte Laverne’s indie-synth-pop project was born under the Barcelona skies. With her first songs, in 2016, she entered the respected Red Bull Music Academy, where she was the only Spanish participant, and performed at Sónar Barcelona and Sónar Reykjavik, as well as Primavera Club (the winter edition of Primavera Sound).
In 2019, Brigitte Laverne took a turn and started singing in her native Spanish. The result was Disco China, a new album recorded at Red Bull Studios in São Paulo, which gave way to a more indie and danceable sound with a bigger guitar presence.
After making hers Bad Bunny’s song ‘Si veo a tu mamá’, Brigitte released ‘Mala Copa’. With her latest single she’s determined to cement a new melodic and shameless chapter with a career that’s only getting started and that had to leave its mark at Mallorca Live Festival.
