Spanish post punk is safe with such forceful (and sensitive) bands such as Hickeys. The four-piece based in Madrid has brought out the heavy artillery with its debut LP, Fragile Structure (2022), and will showcase it at Mallorca Live Festival.

Hickeys began their journey in 2018 with the Diamond Munch EP, bursting onto the Spanish scene influenced, above all, by the newest British post punk bands. Marta, Martina, Maite and Ana embrace the darkest post punk and, at the same time, the finest alternative rock, with nonconformity driven lyrics.

Their bright and bold live show has taken them to venues and festivals all over Spain (FIB,
Sonorama, Sound Isidro, Ebrovisión, Monkey Week) and to open shows for Los Bitchos, Waxahatchee or Peach Pit. They have also toured Portugal, United Kingdom, Germany, Holland (Eurosonic) and the united Stated, including SXSW and New Colossus Festival.
