JANE YO

Jane Yo is part of the history of our festival (and the festival of theirs). The Majorcan band created by August Cortès (vocals and guitar), Jose Troya (bass and keyboards), Miquel Blai (drums) and Jorge Sevilla (guitar and synths) stays ready and will return to Calvià in 2023.

Formed in 2014 with the idea of ​​combining the music of the moment and the textures of postpunk and 90s rock styles such as shoegaze and dreampop, Jane Yo made a name for itself on the island with the EPs All the clocks (2016) and Continue (2017). And, finally, a few months ago his first LP, From Now On, was released, loaded with atmospheric sounds, forceful drums, live guitars that sometimes simulate synths, and 90s post-punk connotations.
