L.A.
L.A.
We are not exaggerating when we say that L.A. is one of the most international Majorcan projects. Luis Albert Segura’s musical adventure started as a long-distance race in 2004 from the small stage of the now-defunct Bluesville bar in Palma. All the effort led him to tour the US, Canada, Latin America, England and part of the European territory between 2012 and 2018, to leave us such special albums as Heavenly Hell (2009) and to share tours or open shows for renowned artists like Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, MUSE, Placebo, Band of Horses or Franz Ferdinand. Throughout these years, L.A. has performed at some of the biggest festivals, such as Reading and Leeds (United Kingdom, 2012), Corona Capital (Mexico, 2013), South By Southwest (2010 to 2016), Mad Cool, Bilbao BBK Live or Sonorama Ribera, amongst many others.
After their breakup in 2018, when Luis Albert went solo, L.A. is back with Evergreen Oak (2021), some very special songs recorded in the Sierra de Tramuntana that we will be able to listen to live in Calvià.
