MAIKA MAKOVSKI

A lot has already been said about one of our most versatile and international artists, and much more will be said. Mallorcan Maika Makovski is a multidisciplinary artist if there ever was one: musician, actress, visual artist and composer. Her musical talent, her various influences and the urgency of her constant search for spirit make her a truly unique name in today’s scene.

As the 20th anniversary of her debut album approaches, Maika will visit our festival with her new release, Bunker Rococó (2024). If we had to describe it in a ver y simple way, it would be as follows: it is the one that best defines her as an artist that Maika has created so far. Since she began his career, she has consistently surprised us with each release, and she already has eight albums under her belt. The previous one, MKMK (2021), was a real success amongst the public and critics, being included in practically all the best of the year lists and recognized as Best Rock Album at the MIN and +Músicas awards.
