QUEVEDO
QUEVEDO
We welcome 2022’s most listened to Spanish artist to the island. Quevedo made history and created a true anthem with ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol.52’ –although we popularly know it as ‘Quédate’– working with Argentine producer Bizarrap and, immediately, he showed us that his career is no one-hit-wonder, but that we still had a lot to discover. He surprised us with ‘Sin señal’, ‘Vista al mar’, ‘Punto G’, and ‘Playa del Inglés’, four appetisers the final test, his debut album, Donde quiero estar (the most listened to album in 24 hours on Spain), a search that he will share live with us at Mallorca Live Festival.
Born in 2001 in Madrid but based in Gran Canaria, Pedro Domínguez Quevedo, better known as “Quevedo”, started out in 2020 alongside his producer, Linton, highly influenced by the musical culture of the island, hip-hop and Latin rhythms mainly. Since then his rise has been unstoppable and the list of hit collaborations continues to grow. Amongst many others, ‘Cayó la noche’ (featuring today’s most brilliant Canarian artists: La Pantera and Juseph ft Bejo, Cruz Cafuné, Abhir Hathi and EL IMA), ‘Real G’ (with Bad Gyal ) and ‘2step’, with none other than Ed Sheeran, stand out.
