REPION

At the beginning of 2023, the Iñesta sisters published Repion, the album which revealed all their potential after years working as a group and taking part at the same time in other projects (Teresa in Aiko el Grupo and Yawners, Marina with Mikel Erentxun). All the ideas, the energy of their music, the emotional intensity of their lyrics, the inevitable connection with their origins… finally crystallized in the right way. Songs like ‘Brillante’, ‘Barrio Somavilla’ or ‘En todo momento’ have proved them to be one of the key names of today’s Spanish indie-rock of the moment as well as one of the most impressive girl-groups in recent years (something we already guessed during their visit to Mallorca in 2022). Described by the Spanish press as “our Sleater Kinney”, Repion have also earned the respect of an audience that falls at their feet after each concert of this never-failing machine.

In the last year they have collaborated on recordings and live performances by artists such as Xoel López, Nat Simons, Jimena Amarillo, Cala Vento and Amaral, amongst others. A wave of creative splendor that Repion has taken advantage of to return to the studio and bring to light “the songs with the best sound we have ever recorded”, collected on the EP Entre todas lo arreglamos.
