Barcelona-based Axel Pi, Jesús Senra and Marc Ros form Sidonie, one of those bands that, in times of the tyranny of the algorithm, make the album format still relevant today. Since they released Costa Azul back in 2007, all their records are based on a concept that sets the tone for the entire album. This was also the case with its successors, El Incendio, El Fluido García y Sierra y Canada. ‘Estáis Aquí’, the song the audience connected the most with from that album, would decisively establish the character of the next one, ‘El Peor Grupo del Mundo’. It also turned their concerts into an even more festive gathering.

One of those gatherings will take place at Mallorca Live Festival, where Sidonie will show that it’s a band with a strong live ethic, a facet they have paid attention to and worked on from their self-titled debut up till now with Marc, Axel y Jes (2023). It is difficult to determine the exact moment when they established themselves as one of the great Spanish rock bands. Throughout over two decades of existence, they have given us bright and immediate pop, electronic sequences, heavy rock, psychedelia, surreal lyrics and even a habanera. Sidonie have made a virtue out of constant change.
