THE KOOKS

The noughties make no sense without ‘Naive’, ‘Seaside’ or ‘She moves on her own way’, some of the songs with which The Kooks made us fall in love with them back in 2006. Over 15 years later, with several albums and numerous worldwide tours behind them and
a new audience of young fans of their distinctive brand of indie rock as a result of the streaming boom, the Brighton band is still going strong.

The Kooks have been experimental over the years – something that has been key to their longevity, but getting back to what people love about the band was front of frontman Luke Pritchard’s mind. The result is 10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark (2022), a new album they will showcase at our festival, where we will relive their career and celebrate their future.
