YENDRY

Yendry is a singer-songwriter who grew up in the Dominican Republic and Italy and now spends her time writing and recording between Europe and the US. Yendry was previously the lead singer of a Jazz and Electronic band in Italy, before embarking on her solo project in 2019.

Growing up with 90’s pop R&B, traditional latin music and electronic music, she refers to herself as a ‘cultural mix’ with the last two years consisting of her travelling, experimenting with music samples and writing stories about her experiences, childhood and her mothers life.

2021 was YENDRY’s breakout year, having collaborated with J. Balvin, Damian Marley, Mozart La Para and Emotional Oranges and having her single ‘Ya’ as one of Barack Obama’s Top Songs of 2021. She has played Austin City Limits, Corona Capital and Lollapalooza Paris, amongst other festivals. After achieving success with singles ‘Mascarade’, the dance floor anthem ‘Ki-ki’ and ‘Love Is Not Hard To Find’, Yendry will drop her much anticipated debut album in January 2023 and showcase it at our festival.
