Next April 17, 2018 we land in Village Underground in London with a presentation party of Mallorca Live Festival with Muchachito, one of the most brilliant proposals that will perform on our third edition, and The Nawers, the Mallorcan band based in Manchester that is becoming very popular in Britain. Tickets, which are available at a special launching price of £ 17 (plus booking fees), can now be purchased at Notikumi.com and Wegow.com.
Muchachito, or what is the same, Jairo Perera, will take to London his guitars and his spectacular drums, with which these days he is presenting his fourth album, El Jiro. He has left behind his surname “Bombo Inferno” but still keeps his particular way of understanding music: ‘mestizaje’ without prejudice in which the rumba goes hand in hand with funk, swing or rock and roll. The Nawers, on their side, will prove us why they have carved a niche in the British independent music scene.
It is the second time that we present ourselves in the English capital, and it’s because we want to disseminate the Balearic Music and Culture and be one of the essential dates in the calendar of European festivals. Last year Chambao and Lori Meyers were in charge of presenting Mallorca Live in London.
This year we have 3 presentations of the festival, this one in London, and two more in spain that will be held in Madrid and Barcelona on March 23rd and 24th, with Sobrinus and The Wheels and Jane Yo respectively.
