You are about to meet one of the biggest references in electronic music. Laurent Garnier started his career at the time of acid house in the popular The Haçienda of Manchester, although he currently set his sessions between techno and house, with no telling about genres but making indeed the difference in the quality. His long performances are respected for every DJ worldwide, especially in Paris, the city where he was born, and where he promoted the French electronic scene, and in Detroit, home of the godfathers of techno music.
Garnier has played live in each and every one of the 25 editions of Sónar, founded his own label F Communications and co-written the book Electroshock. In May he will stop by Mallorca Live Festival –after more than ten years since his last show at the island– within his tight schedules for the most important festivals and venues of the globe to bring us a memorable and historical set. Do you already know why they call him The Master of Electronic Music?
