When the Spanish Film Library announced the acquisition of “one of the most powerful film archives of the 20th century”, that of filmmaker Iván Zulueta (San Sebastián, 1943-2009), Jota (singer of Los Planetas) immersed himself fully in a filmography rich in spontaneous Super 8 filming.

This immersion led the Granada-born musician to score never-before-seen films by our cursed artist in the seventies—queer, rocker, junkie, high-born bohemian—and the result was Plena Pausa (2023), his first solo album. Jota will bring his most personal and unusual project to Mallorca Live Nights, with a hypnotic audiovisual live show at the Teatre Principal d’Inca.
