Music is not the only artistic discipline that comes with Mallorca Live Festival. This year #MLF18 will count on urban art again inside and outside the venue.
Majorcan painter Joan Aguiló and Catalan artist Irene López León are the authors of the two new murals that can be found at the campus of Les Illes Balears University. Aguiló wanted to represent the wisdom with a painting portraying two old women on the lateral facade of Beatriu de Pinòs building. López León has updated the facade the stall in front of the Attention Point of the University Community on the Ramon Llull building with a geometric composition using some ot the natural elements of the island. You can now visit both walls.
These paintings are now part of the University as the ones made last year by Misterpiro did, along with the sculpture expo with figures built from garbage collected from the sea that was created to raise awareness about the environment of the island.
If you are one of the students in the UIB you can still buy one of the last tickets at €40 (+ fees) thanks to the special discount for students, result of an agreement with the University.
