And if what you’re looking for is to enjoy some water sports, that’s easy in Majorca because you can enjoy and put your surf, paddle surf, kitesurf or windsurf skills into practise in Majorcan waters. For those who want to search for waves, you can do so in the Son Serra de Marina area and then enjoy a day at the beach in one of the best areas of the island. You can go paddle surfing in the areas of Playa de Palma or Calvià. For those who are up for some kitesurfing, the Bay of Pollença area will be the best place for it and windsurf lovers should definitely visit the area of Cala Mesquida, Cala Ratjada and Cala Millor.

If your wish is to go underwater, the area of Cala Bendinat is one of the closest to the festival site where you can enjoy a magnificent day of snorkeling.

ON THE MOUNTAINS

Trekking, hiking or just walking. The essence of Mallorca lies largely in its landscapes and, for this reason, enjoying every step you take anywhere on the island is already a luxury in itself. These are some of the routes that we think you shouldn’t miss: Biniaraix ravine, from Ermita de la Victoria to Talaia de Alcudia, to Puig de Galatzó from Estellencs, Torrent de Pareis (a hiking route for the adventurous) and hiking route to an old castle, El Castell de Alaró. Are you up for it?

ON THE ROAD

The Balearic Islands are a paradise for cycling tourism. That’s why you will have the chance to pedal through its more than 40 marked routes and discover the variety and beauty of its landscapes. In fact, you can sign up for some of the many cycling events that take place throughout the year.

There are more than 1,200 kilometres of roads in Majorca in total, and 700 of them are secondary roads, which are ideal for cycling or training, placing Majorca as a perfect place for this activity. In addition to thousands of enthusiasts, more and more cycling professionals are choosing Majorca as the perfect winter training location. This will be a way to get to know the island in full through its most picturesque corners, while enjoying the practice of this sport in the open and in harmony with nature.
