La Plazuela is a fusion flamenco group with a crucial certificate of origin. Coming from Granada and formed by Manuel Hidalgo Sierra (1998) and Luis Abril Martín (1998), it seeks to reclaim its roots with a current and renewed discourse whose main pillars are flamenco, electronic music and nu funk. A most interesting cocktail for our next lineup
All musical genres fit in the city of the Alhambra and, thus, La Plazuela drinks from all of them through its flamenco essence, positioning itself as a generational band, which reflects the creativity of a scene that does not consider marrying one single genre. They have done so since they appeared with the EP Yunque, clavas y arcayatas (2019) and continue to this day with Jamila, an EP that includes the songs ‘Mi Tarara’, ‘Perico el de la Tomasa’ and ‘La Antigua Judería’ .
