BELLE AND SEBASTIAN

BELLE AND SEBASTIAN

They recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the release of one of their most representative albums, The Boy With The Arab Strap (1998) after hitting the ground running in 2023 with the infectious pop of their 12th album, Late Developers, which arrived a few months after A Bit of Previous (2022). Scots Belle and Sebastian have been going on for almost three decades now and they still have a lot to say and sing. There’s a reason why they’re one of the most important (and most beloved) bands in the history of independent music.

The Glasgow septet, formed in 1996 at university, has visited countless Spanish festivals in all this time and we were already looking forward to having Stuart Murdoch and company in Mallorca. They will embrace us with their enveloping melodies to face the close reality of their lyrics (in A Bit of Previous, Murdoch recounted how he grew tired of himself during lockdown, does it sound familiar?). Songs from already legendary albums that have been with us for years to different generations and, who knows if their recent hyperactivity will lead to new music in 2024?
