LAS ODIO

LAS ODIO

‘Indiespañol’ or ‘Yo lo vi primero’ are generational anthems that bear the signature of Las Odio, a riot grrrl group born within the Madrid ‘infraunderground’ scene in 2015. They soon ceased to be the best kept secret of the Spanish capital’s music scene thanks to Futuras esposas, a cheeky and fresh debut loaded with sharp lyrics and a relevant feminist message. The band became one of 2017’s breakthrough acts and toured venues and festivals throughout the country. Standing somewhere between post-punk, pop, garage and rock, they continued to celebrate local customs with sharpness in Autoficción (2019).
After providing music for the podcast 2 Rubias muy legales (2022), hosted by Raquel Córcoles (Spanish illustrator Moderna de Pueblo) and Henar Álvarez, Las Odio began to reveal what will be their third effort. New songs that Ágata Ahora (guitar), Amanda Palma (drums), Paula JJ (vocals and synths) and Sonsoles Rodríguez (bass) will showcase at Mallorca Live Festival.
