LORI MEYERS

LORI MEYERS

An illustrious name within the Granada scene, Lori Meyers is one of the most important indie rock groups in Spain. Noni, Alejandro and Alfredo have been together for more than 20 years, releasing hymns to the universe such as ‘Luces de neón’, ’Alta fidelidad’, ‘Mi realidad’, ‘Emborracharme’ or ‘Siempre brilla el sol’. The Granada band has provided us a soundtrack for several generations since that Viaje de estudios (2004), the first of the seven albums published to date, in addition to a compilation celebrating their 20th anniversary and the recording of their 2019 live show at Madrid’s Wizink Center.

It was time to have Lori Meyers back at Mallorca Live Festival, where they will showcase their latest record, Espacios infinitos (2021), an album produced by James Bagshaw (singer and guitarist of British group Temples) that combines nonconformity and serenity. With new artistic approaches and on the way to a restless maturity, even so, Lori do not renounce their genuine sound expression that has made them undisputed references of contemporary Spanish pop.
