It’s undeniable that they are one of the hottest bands right now and they had to be part of our seventh lineup. Niña Polaca burst in with a strong, unique sound and an unmistakable voice and they have won us over with pop songs that come from the garage and are like walking through Madrid in the eighties. Since they signed one of the anthems of the underground during the first months of the pandemic, ‘Madrid sin ti’, included in their first album, De la línea diez al sol (2020), we have seen the Madrid-Alicante band grow exponentially.
Songs like ‘Joaquin Phoenix’, ‘Pdr Snchz’ or ‘Magaluf’ (alongside Ginebras) from Asumiré la muerte de Mufasa (2021) catapulted the group, filling venues and performing at festivals all over the map. With their latest release, third album Que adoren tus huesos (2023), Niña Polaca’s songbook continues to resonate deeply and rock audiences, something we’ll be able to see first-hand in Calvià.
