RODRIGO CUEVAS

Winner of the 2023 Modern Music National Prize, Rodrigo Cuevas is already a phenomenon within the performing arts as well as in communication in its broadest sense; a complete artist in a constant process of sustainable growth. Since 2019, Rodrigo Cuevas has matured very significantly as an artist and as a person, with a tour like “Trópico de Covadonga” that allowed him to tour countless cities in Europe and visit America and the Middle East, having sold out most of the performances.
Showcasing his critically acclaimed album Manual de cortejo, the Asturian artist dazzled us on his visit to the Mallorca Live Nights cycle in Es Gremi in 2022 and it was mandatory to have him back on the island big time for him to defend his latest work, Manual de romería. In it, Rodrigo is revealed to us as a creator who has matured over years of hard work, traveling the road and unraveling the mysteries of the musician profession, with his own compositions and traditional elements as well as traditional pieces with his own arrangements or adaptations.
In recent years, Rodrigo has had the opportunity to record great collaborations on albums by Rozalén, Zahara, Puerto Rican iLE, Vicente Navarro, Clara Peya and Eduardo Cabra.
