From the United Kingdom and under the post-punk banner, Sleaford Mods excels at expressing the raw emotions of the most jaded working class. They broke out in 2014 with the album Divide and Exit and have continued with albums such as English Tapas (2017) or Eton Alive (2019). In 2023 they have taken a stunning step up, welcoming us to insurrectionary UK Grim.
All along, Sleaford Mods have had increasing opportunity for frank exchanges, at home and abroad. The tireless Nottingham duo, formed by vocalist Jason Williamson – its founder and songwriter – and musician Andrew Robert Lindsay Fearn (who joined in 2012), will bring to Mallorca their maxi-minimalist live show filled up with nihilistic and raging catharsis which has rocked venues, arenas and festivals all over and who has Iggy Pop as a distinguished admirer.
