CARMESÍ

Friday 12

With one foot in indie and the other in the most honest pop, Carmen Molina, aka Carmesí, from Murcia, has carved out a niche for herself in a scene where female sensibility hasn’t always had its own voice. The conservatory-trained composer, singer, and musician, who excels as a guitarist, first gained recognition as a singer-songwriter in 2020 with her debut album, Deshielo. This was followed in 2022 by Refugio, which took a more electronic and urban stylistic turn in her project.

Carmesí has continued her personal and musical exploration and has released—and produced alongside Bela Transa, Pepe Ludeña, Mario Vigara, Raúl de Lara, and Guille Mostaza—Tiro al plato (2025), the album that brings her to the Mallorca Live lineup. Her new songs reflect this exploration, electric guitars, and that nostalgic energy that stirs our hearts as we dance. A turning point in her career, with her sights set on a more alternative indie sound that retains pop’s sensibility but delves into a more experimental and emotional territory. One of the most promising and authentic voices on the current indie scene will be performing at the next edition of the festival.
