RATA

RATA emerged from the modification, transformation, shift, innovation, and mutation of the encounter between drummer Daniel Sabater and bassist/producer Felix Esteban, both known for their own musical projects (Daniel Sabater, Walls), and burst onto the national music scene in early 2025. Before the summer, they officially launched with the EP Niñato, six songs about two guys under their current circumstances.

And in times where things move extremely fast, RATA is already getting ready to release their first LP in 2026, with ‘Borracho’ as the first single. Irreverent and disruptive like a rodent, that’s RATA’s proposal, a nonconformist manifesto of their generation which they bring to the Mallorca Live stage. Indie rock with pop choruses in a duo format—reminiscent of the drummer-bassist lineup of Royal Blood—dividing the latter into multiple channels and creating songs through experimentation, without losing sight of the sense of joy.
