PARFAVAR

After several years of getting together to write songs and hang out, PARFAVAR was born in 2024 in Madrid from the friendship between musicians Jon Arias and Javier Castellano (former members of the now-defunct band Layabouts). They decided to leave the house and go rehearse to shape the sound of this new project, which kicked off with their first single ‘Ciudad Mutante’. 

This was followed by ‘Dos Semanas’ and ‘Respirar’ – a track rescued from their old demos that marked a turning point for the future band and perfectly encapsulates their journey up til now– and now these “new romantics with synthesizers” are preparing to debut as PARFAVAR on stage, with Mallorca Live 2026 being their first festival appearance.
